The PNGAS Board of Directors will meet at 0800 on 31 July 04 at Biddle Hall (PNGAS), Fort Indiantown Gap. IT Report: This has been a busy quarter for your IT Committee! Some of the highlights: * www.pngas.net This is our own-name web site! Take a look! * Gap Cable expects they will have high-speed cable Internet service available at Biddle Hall by 1 August. Gap Cable is installing the necessary wiring in Biddle Hall by this date. These services are needed so we can set up our new database management system that includes web-based conference registrations, dues payments, etc. * The computer server and Rosie’s new up-to-date computer should be delivered no later than 30 Jul 2003, as directed in our last Board Meeting. * Attached is the review of the database management/Internet systems that your committee reviewed. NOTE: Since the review, I have spent significant time talking with Crescentleaf to try to bring the offerings of their proposal in alignment with Non-Profit Technologies. I have just received an updated proposal from Cresentleaf that comes in at $27,200 but still does not match the offerings of Non-Profit Technologies. I will provide an updated review at next week’s meeting.
