The PNGAS Board of Directors will meet at 0800 on 31 July 04 at Biddle Hall (PNGAS), Fort Indiantown Gap. Membership Report:   We have completed the reimbursement of the Officers Dues Rebate and I have forwarded the information to the Treasurer for reimbursement to the units. I can not tell you if it has been completed due to the transition between Lt. Colonel Yancey and Major Casserella. We made a last major push to increase officer membership over the last quarter and our actual officer membership numbers for this year are: As of 23 June, we have 1579 members this includes both active and retired members. Our numbers are up about 10% for the year. I am awaiting the enlisted membership numbers from the 1ST Sergeant. I have also developed, and Rosie is forwarding, a letter to all retirees (only officers) requesting they join for life (both NGAPA and NGAUS) and we are verifying addresses and gathering email addresses. This mailing is to over 400 retirees. I am also sending out the membership cards - have about 100 ready to go! I will work with Rosie to get the others sent out! I am in contact with Lt. Colonel Smith regarding the flier - I have not seen it and hope to have a preview available for the next meeting. Next Quarter Goals: - Finish Membership cards - Validate retirees address - Expand this process to all active members by obtaining information from SIDPERS database to ensure we include mobilized soldiers. - Continue to work on ways to improve membership enrollment.
