The Pennsylvania National Guard AssociationS (PNGAS) is in the midst of its 2007 Corporate Associate Membership campaign.  This revitalized and enhanced program offers a unique opportunity for the business community and the Guard community to partner to advance our mutual goals.  Past campaigns were major successes, and we hope to build on that success in the future.

PNGAS is the professional association that represents the more than 19,000 Pennsylvanians who proudly serve their state and nation in the Pennsylvania National Guard. PNGAS brings together active leaders and members of the Guard, retirees and representatives of defense and Guard-related industries in an organization whose mission is to support the Guard and its soldiers and airmen.

Founded in 1747 by Benjamin Franklin, today’s Pennsylvania National Guard is truly “First in America” in many ways. PNGAS also has a proud heritage tracing its roots to the founding of the National Guard Association of Pennsylvania (NGAPA) more than a century ago. PNGAS, which combines NGAPA and the Pennsylvania National Guard Enlisted Association, was established in 1983 as a way of bringing together officer and enlisted leaders, as well as corporate members, to more effectively pursue our mission of support for the Guard.

Our successes have been many. Many concepts first advanced in resolutions presented at our Annual Conference have become law at the state and federal level. Our affiliations with the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) and the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) have served as force multipliers as we advance ideas in support of the Guard and the industries who provide equipment and services for the Guard. Our annual events in Washington and Harrisburg have garnered praise from key legislators and their staffs.

Our success depends on forging a chain of membership that includes not just the members of the Army and Air National Guard, but also corporations whose programs and goals compliment our efforts. Here’s where you come in. PNGAS has revitalized and restructured our Corporate Associate Membership program. Corporate membership in PNGAS presents a unique partnership opportunity for you and the Guard. Our corporate members have opportunities for participation in PNGAS events, input into PNGAS resolutions and policies, support for the Guard and recognition as corporate members.
