EANGUS / USAA Free Membership Offer At the 30th EANGUS National Conference in Mobile, Alabama, representatives of USAA made a presentation to the state presidents during their luncheon concerning membership in EANGUS. They proposed a program to encourage membership in both the state association and ENAGUS. It was widely endorsed by those present. USAA has offered to sponsor all enlisted members promoted to E-5 and E-6 during calendar year 2004/5 to a one-year membership in EANGUS. They will contribute $10.00 per membership application. Nine dollars will be retained by the national organization (EANGUS) and one dollar will be forwarded to the state association. Payments will be made on a quarterly basis. Enlisted members must voluntarily complete the attached membership application form. All information must be completed or the application will not be processed. The state must develop a method to distribute and collect the application form. The completed application form will be forwarded to the national office for processing and forwarding to USAA for payment. As you know our strength is measured by active membership and this initiative provides an excellent opportunity to encourage our young enlisted members to get involved.
