
The Pennsylvania National Guard Foundation, Inc.
(PNGF) was established in 1989 as a charitable
foundation to support the Pennsylvania Army and
Air National Guard.
The PNGF is seeking donations to support
“Operation Salute,” which will be held on
Sunday, September 10, 2006 at Bryce Jordan
Center, Penn State University. “Operation
Salute” will recognize thousands of Pennsylvania
National Guard soldiers and airmen, and their
families, for their service and their
sacrifices.
The Foundation was established to undertake a
variety of charitable public purposes, for which
it raises tax-deductible donations and gifts.
The PNGF is recognized as a charitable
foundation under Section 501(c) (3) of the
Internal Revenue Code.
Its missions include:
« To sponsor or participate in activities of a
patriotic nature, such as “Operation Salute” to
encourage active involvement in the Pennsylvania
National Guard.
« To foster and encourage an enlightened public
appreciation of the contributions of the
Pennsylvania National Guard.
In addition to its support for “Operation
Salute,” the PNGF operates of the Pennsylvania
National Guard Conference and Recreation Center
(Keystone Lodge) located above Marquette Lake at
Fort Indiantown Gap.
